President - Luke Jansen

 Luke is a fourth year honours Political Science major and Economics minor. In his role as the President, he works to support the Vice Presidents in their portfolios while acting as the spokesperson for all undergraduate Political Science students at the University of Alberta. Luke is passionate about urban politics, developing music cities, and spending quality time with his banjo.


VP Finance - Ben Throndson

Ben is a fourth year Political Science major and Sociology minor. As VP Finance he is responsible for the PSUA budget, grant applications, and PSUA Constitution. In his spare time, Ben enjoys spending time outdoors and compulsively refreshing his Twitter feed.

VP External - Navneet Gidda

Navneet is a third year honours Political Science student. In her role as the VP External, she is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders. As well, she acts as a liaison between students and the political science department. In her free time, Navneet enjoys journaling, running, and watching House of Cards.


VP Internal - Christian Dy

Christian is in his fourth and (hopefully) final year of a Political Science major with a sociology minor. As VP Internal, he ensures the smooth running of all internal PSUA operations and supports whatever ventures the other executives may have. Christian loves going to the gym but when he isn't picking things up and putting things down, you'll find him binging Netflix shows and procrastinating away the impending term papers.


VP Communications - Duncan McCrostie

Duncan is a third year honours Political Science and Economics double major. As VP Communications he operates the PSUA’s social media accounts, drafts monthly newsletters, and moderates the PSUA website. Besides being part of the PSUA executive team, Duncan enjoys playing hockey, loves to ride his fixie, and is trying to conquer his Snapchat addiction.


VP Academic - Cole Goshulak

Cole is a fifth year Political Science major and Human Geography minor. In his role as the VP Academic, Cole organizes, manages, and produces the Political Science Undergraduate Review; an academic journal compiled of papers from undergraduate Political Science students. In his free time, Cole enjoys fly fishing, motorcycle riding, and golfing.


Co-VP Events - Micah Leonida

Micah is a second year honours Modern Language and Cultural Studies student majoring in French with a minor in Political Science. As the Co-VP Events her role is to organize community building events relevant to political issues. Micah is fond of political philosophy, writing sheet music and a good glass of wine.


Co-VP Events - Jakub Romanek 

Jakub is a fourth year political science major and sociology minor. As Co-VP Events, he works to raise funds for the PSUA and its events. Jakub enjoys analyzing international diplomacy, and is a fan of breakfast food. He also likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.
